Fit Droids origin story is an epic tale in its own right.

Just a small-town girl
The company was formed by a Yulia Sultanova, who grew up half a planet away in the desert near a place the locals call the Door to Hell.
Yulia, fought her way through an often-oppressive society excelling at school, sports and then later in business.

London calling
Despite her success in her native Turkmenistan, Yulia’s wanted to travel and a few years after graduating in Ukraine she ended up in the UK.

Barely able to speak English and running on financial fumes Yulia once again put in the grind and it wasn’t long before her hard work was noticed.

Welcome to Easy Street
Yulia’s drive and passion soon landed her a role as a luxury broker specialising in making deals for oligarchs and the super-rich.
Unfortunately, the financial crisis devasted her client base and as the rich choose to count their pennies, Yulia once again found herself in need of direction.

Down, but not out
Sport was her saviour and the more she worked out, the more she realised how much more effective and welcome her business acumen would be among her gym mates.

Firestarter
Fit Droids, the brand was born and with her extensive business knowledge and network of well-connected associated world domination was surely close at hand…

Hurray for Hollywood
Well, if only life was that simple. Fit Droids, it appears had angered Hollywood. That’s right, the simple act of choosing the word Droid was enough to enrage silver screen heavyweight Lucasfilm.

Fight the Power
Not one to back away from a fight having overcome adversity her entire life, Yulia refused to be bullied by big Hollywood bucks. As you can guess, we’re still here and that’s because Yulia took Lucasfilm’s lawyers on and won.

Right Here Right Now
From the Steppes to the City, from the Door of Hell and back again, from the drawing board to the high court, we have endured, we have triumphed and we have grown and now we are ready to give the world both barrels.
